Work and rules
Actual worked time: elapsed time in the recorded shift after its recorded unpaid breaks. It is not increased to represent guaranteed pay.
Base hourly rate: the entered straight-time rate before configured multipliers. The current setup labels this rate in USD.
Multiplier: the factor applied to a base rate, such as 1.5× or 2×. Only enter an applicable, confirmed rule.
Daily overtime tier: a multiplier that starts after a configured number of worked hours on the payroll-local date. It is not the same as a weekly overtime rule.
Callout minimum / guarantee: a configured paid-hours entitlement for qualifying callout work. A derived top-up is separate from actual clock time.
Flat per diem: a configured allowance per worked local date. Its tax treatment and inclusion in paystub gross are not inferred by LinePaycheck.
Payroll timezone: the saved timezone used to interpret work dates and boundaries. It need not equal the phone’s current timezone.
Rule snapshot / version: the saved set of rules used for a calculation. Later profile changes must not silently replace the meaning of historical results.
Source reference: a title, link, or section you retained to explain a rule. It is not independent verification by the app.
Paycheck comparisons
Expected wages: calculated wage components from the recorded work and supported rules; per diem is shown separately.
Gross pay: the source paycheck amount before deductions on the basis being confirmed. The app asks whether this figure includes its represented per diem.
Net / take-home pay: the payment after deductions and adjustments. Do not compare a bank deposit directly with expected wage gross.
Current period versus year to date: values for this paycheck’s covered period versus cumulative values for the year. Confirm current-period values for this audit.
OCR: on-device text recognition used to suggest values from a document. A suggestion is not a confirmed fact.
Confirmed field: a value you reviewed and explicitly confirmed. This establishes input status, not the legal correctness of the agreement.
Comparison scope: which totals or lines the app actually compared. Gross-only and confirmed-line comparisons provide different evidence.
Possible difference: expected minus confirmed paid on a comparable basis. Positive means expected was higher; negative means paid was higher.
Not comparable: the prerequisites do not support a full-paycheck comparison. It is not a zero difference or a clean match.
Audit revision: a saved record of an assessment’s work, rules, calculation, and confirmed facts at that time. Corrections preserve earlier revisions.
Records and access
Closed work period: frozen work and rule context retained in History. Its paycheck can still be added later.
Complete backup: a manual restorable snapshot including saved data and retained original files. It is not live sync and is not password-encrypted by the app.
Data export: structured records or a report for another purpose. The JSON export and audit PDF are not the complete backup format.
Restore Purchases: refresh App Store entitlement access. It does not recover wage history.
